An interesting shape for this thin yet strong mug, which will keep your drink warmer longer. Great to use to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The celtic knot is handcarved into both sides of the mug, and as each is handmade, each will be slightly different.
Size: Approximately 12oz/355 mls. Available in gallery only at 27 Ainslie St. N. Cambridge, Ontario or email firstname.lastname@example.org for shipping cost.
Island Stoneware pottery is in Summerside, PEI and is owned and operated by Randy Perry and Jamie Niessen, and staffed with a terrific team of craftspeople. Randy is originally from Summerside and after more than 25 years of living across Canada and the U.S., he decided it was time to move home, and work at his craft. Jamie Niessen is originally from southern Alberta and he, too, has lived, worked and studied across Canada and in the U.S. at Cornell University. Jamie runs the day-to-day operations of the studio.
The team of potters works together to create designs and each potter works on different pieces depending on their preference and special skill sets. Island Stoneware pottery is fast making its name across the country for its fine, light pottery.
