This iconic Canadian painting is part of the collection at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, Ontario. One of Harris's most well-known painting, and magnificent in original size at over 4' x 5', Mount Lefroy is an example of Harris's period of painting in this style. It is reproduced with copyright permission, and therefore the colours are close to the original as possible. Professionally matted and framed using archival materials, in an light gray aluminum frame (not as shown brownish black solid wood).

The Artist: Lawren Stewart Harris (1885–1970), one of Canada’s most important and influential painters, was also the driving force behind the famous Group of Seven, and the founding member and first president of the Canadian Group of Painters. Through his life and work, he inspired three generations of artists to paint unbridled by convention, and along with his contemporaries, changed the art of a nation.
