This magnificent triple-tree piece is one of the largest tree pieces at the gallery. Cathy Mark's stunning metal-work sculpture of windswept pines clinging to a gorgeous Canadian shield piece of granite is definitely a show-stopper. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind, and this piece will look great on a hearth or large piece of furniture. Not as pictured. New picture to come of current piece.

The Artist: Cathy Mark was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Cathy's love of art was evident at a very young age. This interest led her to a vocational arts high school and on to David Thompson University in British Columbia for fine arts, and to Fanshawe College in London, Ontario for design. Cathy has been creating in the art and design world for 30 years. Her primary focus now is her metalwork.
Cathy’s metalwork is a direct reflection of her surroundings; Canadian flora and fauna being her main inspiration. Her metal pieces portray nature and all its beauty. The iconic windswept pines dance atop locally harvested rocks and burls. Cathy works from her home studio on the north shore of Lake Scugog. Her work is found in many juried shows and galleries and is collected world wide.
