Wildlife Illustration Pencil Case - Owl

The wise old owl image on this pencil case is screen-printed from an original drawing by the artist. The illustration is transferred to a silk-screen and hand printed by the artist using water-based, eco-friendly, and heat-set ink. This lined whimsical pencil case  is lined with natural muslin cotton, making it sturdy and long-lasting. The back of the pouch is black linen/cotton.

A black zipper runs across the top for easy access to all your tools whether they are pens and pencils, crochet hooks, bicycle tools or even chargers for your various devices. These pouches are also very useful for the safe storage of jewelry when you are traveling.

The Artist/Designer: Barbara Di Lella has been drawing animals all her life. For a number of years she was illustrating children's books, and then started stylizing her work to look like the steel engravings or woodblock prints that can be found in vintage school books and screen printing her drawings onto textiles by hand. All of the sewing is done with a 1947 Singer Featherweight sewing machine which is in keeping with the "vintage-look" of her work.
