The designs he produces aim to respect the legacy of craftspeople that went before, while fitting squarely into the contemporary world. Kyle considers himself a proud citizen of Canada’s North Atlantic. He and his partner Robyn, who is originally from Scotland, make their home on beautiful Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and name each of the products after places in Cape Breton.
